The coast of the region of Trasmiera extends between the bays of Santander and Santoña, occupying great part of the Eastern coast of Cantabria.

In its full route of steep cliffs and abundant sandy grounds, we found beaches wild of great beauty, like those of Langre and Galizano and other next ones to the urban nuclei of tourist localities so known as Noja, Isla, Loredo or Somo.

As far as the religious architecture it is possible to emphasize the church of Santa Maria of the Port in Santoña, and the one of Santa Maria de Bareyo, small jewel of the romantic mountain dweller.
